The President’s Medallion Award

Maggie Ralph was awarded the President’s Medallion at the 2018 Annual Student Awards Banquet in April. The award is presented each spring to a graduating student who has contributed significantly to the development of co-curricular programs at the college. The President’s Medallion recognizes academic achievement along with outstanding contribution and accomplishment outside of the classroom.

During her time at SUNY Niagara, Maggie was active in Student Senate, Treasurer of the Art Guild, and aided the SUNY Niagara Pride Alliance on campus. Her academic success was highlighted by her membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and her artwork has been included in the prestigious SUNY wide exhibition in Albany, NY. Outside of her classroom achievements, Maggie has dedicated time to community service initiatives, including rebuilding homes in New Orleans, volunteering at St. Jude’s Research Hospital, and assisting at Mid-South food bank through SUNY Niagara’s Alternative Spring Break program.
