Welcome to Niagara County Community College
Niagara County Community College is ready to welcome you and support your efforts to improve the quality of your life through a vibrant education. Our website provides descriptions of NCCC’s programs and services and specific directions for your enrollment process. However, words on a page can’t adequately describe the intangible benefits that add to the reasons why NCCC is truly the “Smart Place to Start.”
William J. Murabito, Ph.D., President
Dr. William J. Murabito was appointed president at Niagara County Community College in December 2019 after serving as interim president since September of 2017.
Dr. Murabito has held the role of Interim President at SUNY Cobleskill in 2002, Sullivan County Community College in 2011, and SUNY Morrisville in 2013 and as CEO/Officer-in-Charge at Rockland Community College in 2003.
At an All-College meeting in September 2019, the College community was invited to participate in the planning process and asked to begin sharing its ideas for a reimagined NCCC on its 60th anniversary in 2022—a strong, vibrant college with improved academic excellence, enhanced student enrichment opportunities, broader community and workforce engagement, and overall institutional sustainability and improvement.
With those four strategic goals in mind, the Strategic Planning Committee led a college-wide review and update of the College’s mission statement that progressed through the Student and Faculty Senates and ultimately to the Board of Trustees. The result of this extensive self-assessment of our mission and overall efforts to meet that mission is 60 Years Strong: NCCC Reimagined.
