Overview

The Electronics Technology program is designed to prepare graduates for careers in the field of electronics. The courses target skill sets that a modern electrical technician utilizes such as work in electronics, microprocessors, robotics, and industrial instrumentation and control systems. The electronic courses offer hands-on learning opportunities with modern electronics equipment with knowledge in electronic instruments, devices, and measurement techniques.

This two-year degree program is offered as a path to enter the electronics technology industry by focusing on skills related to construct and analyze circuits, understand testing techniques and fault diagnosis, and using programmable devices to perform installations and evaluate systems.

Program Goals and Objectives
  • To maintain a high placement rate for program graduates.
  • To expose graduates of the program to additional skill sets and certifications that will help them develop in their careers, including project management skills and future management opportunities.
