The World Wide Web is ubiquitous today. There isn’t a business or organization that doesn’t utilize the web and social media to promote their products and services and cultivate their customer base. Behind this web presence are the designers and developers whose job is to produce a creative visual design, effective interactivity, and user-friendly and accessible content.
The NCCC Digital Media: Web Production certificate program provides the skills for entry-level positions in web design. This career requires a combination of creativity and technical skills to produce fully-functional websites.
Program Goals and Objectives

Director of Client Relations & Design
Shovel the Sidewalk
Not many people can say that they are living their dream. But I can. It’s not easy to change your career path and go back to school in your thirties. Life is more complicated with kids, work, etc. But life is too short to not love what you do. Enrolling in the Digital Media program at NCCC was one of the best decisions I ever made. I was hired as the Director of Client Relations and Design at Shovel the Sidewalk, a company that builds brands and creates advertising for small businesses. I have the privilege of doing something different every day, whether it’s creating an advertisement, designing a logo, building a social media strategy, or producing a television commercial. The Digital Media program provided me with a well-rounded education that has prepared me for just about everything.
