Deanna Alterio Brennen

Finance Specialist

Deanna is a lifelong resident of Niagara County and graduated from Niagara University with a BS in Commerce.  She is also a graduate of Leadership Niagara, class of 2000.

Deanna has been active in the business community for many years. For more than nineteen years, Deanna has worked for the SUNY Niagara Small Business Development Center.   She served as Associate Director of Economic Development and International Trade and she is certified as a business advisor by the NYS Small Business Development Center. In July 2007, Deanna was named President & CEO of the Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce, the largest business advocacy organization in Niagara County.  In 2017, she followed her passion for assisting women through the invaluable services of the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier as the Vice President of Social Enterprise, delivering employment and training opportunities to the women served by the YWCA.

Currently, she is a member of the WNY Regional Economic Development Council, the WNY Power Proceeds Allocation Board and Secretary of the board for the Greater Lockport Development Corporation.  She received her Advanced Certification from the NYS SBDC, specializing in economic development in 2022.
