Co-ed Kickball

SUNY Niagara will offer its annual youth summer camps beginning in late June. Athletic and culinary summer camps will return alongside new, weekly-themed experiences facilitated by faculty, staff, and student leaders.

The new summer camps will take place each week during the month of July at the Sanborn Campus. Programs run Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. for students who are 9 to 13-years-old. Weekly themes include Observing Nature (July 6 – 8); Movie and Film Week (July 6 – 8); Web Design and Development (July 12 – 15); Decades & Leadership (July 19 – 22); Health Career Exploration (July 19 – 22); Arts and Crafts (July 26 – 29); and International Week (July 26 – 29). Students will experience hands-on learning, games, and fun both inside and outdoors. The cost to attend is $150 per week/per camper for full days and $75 per week/per camper for half days. Camp SUNY Niagara Thunderwolves athletic program will take place at the Sanborn campus and offers four camps to choose from: boys basketball, girls basketball, co-ed soccer, and co-ed general sports. The boys basketball camp is created for adolescents ages 7 to 16. It runs July 12 – 15 and August 2 – 5. The camp will increase player’s self-confidence, both on and off the court. The girls basketball camp will run July 26 – 29 for 7 to 16-year-olds. The week will focus heavily on offensive skills such as shooting, passing, and ball-handling. There will also be drills, contests, and competitions. Instruction will be provided by SUNY Niagara Head Coach Nate Beutel and his coaching staff. Co-ed Soccer will run from August 9 – 12 for ages 6 to 14. Campers will learn skills and tactics in a fun environment.  Instruction will be provided by SUNY Niagara head coach Kennet Fosuhene and his coaching staff. The co-ed athletic camps will take place July 19 – 22 for kids 6 to 14-years-old. This sports camp will cover soccer, basketball, football, kickball, handball, whiffle ball, capture the flag, floor hockey, and more! All camps run from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Camps are $150 per week/per camp with the exception of the girls basketball camp which is $80 per week/per camper. SUNY Niagara’s Culinary Camp will take place at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute (NFCI) for students who are ages 8 to 17-years-old. Culinary professionals will teach campers how to make breakfast and lunch recipes as well as food safety, healthful living, and kitchen operations. The camp takes place June 28 – August 6, but due to its popularity, it has already sold out. Look for more information during spring 2022 regarding culinary camps for next summer.
