SUNY Niagara Driver Training and Safety Courses
July 8 – August 12, 2024
Driver Education – Summer 2024The SUNY Niagara Driver Education Program is a total of 48 hours consisting of in-car observation, behind-the-wheel, and classroom training. Upon successful completion, most students are eligible for insurance discounts and a senior operator’s license.
Note: Five-hour course IS included in instructional hours.
Hours of Instruction: 48 hours -24 of instruction and 24 in car (18 in-car observation, and 6 behind the wheel)
Days/Times: July 8 – August 12, 2024
Location: SUNY Niagara Main Campus, Room E-142
Cost: $900
***Mandatory Classroom Session: All classes are in person – Monday, Wednesday & Saturdays 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Students must attend ALL classes.
July 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29, 31
August 1, 5, 7, 9, 12, (August 6 optional make-up day – $35)
Driving Portion: Monday, Wednesday & Saturday – 8:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. – Students will be assigned 1 time slot each day.
